't Koetshuis in Nijkerk is again the location for our fan club day. At half past ten we are sitting ready to welcome everybody with a cup of coffee or tea. When everybody is present we start with a serious moment, the yearly fan club meeting. Thanks to our secretary this doesn't take too long and we can start with the fan club day.

But first we say goodbye to Joyce, she stops with her fan club activities. We give her a bouquet of flowers to thank her. After that we go further with the programme of the fan club day.

What is the best thing you can do to get people quite? Play a video with a message from Alessandro to his fans! This small interview was taped during the visit of Marjolijn and Willeke to Rome in May 2002.

Meanwhile we are putting 40 Alessandro standees on the parking lot. A very funny sight to see!

Afterwards we invite the fans to come outside for a picture of the group. Unsuspecting of what is going on everybody comes outside. An hilarious moment when they find out that there are 40 Alessandro's waiting for them.

Everybody takes a place next to, behind or under the standee. It produces a beautiful picture. The joy gets bigger when we tell them that they can take the standee home!

Between several items we find the time for a lottery. There are a lot of nice prices to win: cards, posters, a t-shirt, a CD and the first prize a video tape of the Taormina concert! All the prize winners are very happy but most of all the winner of the first prize. She shouts of joy when her number is called.

To end a great day we treat the members to a whipped cream cake with a picture of Alessandro as Danilo on it. It is too beautiful to eat!

It is a very nice sight when the fans leave with the Alessandro standee under their arm!

And it was again a successful day, so we are already looking forward to the next fan club day!
