Unforgettable !

At last, the report of the unforgettable concert Alessandro gave on September 15th in Taormina, Sicily. The Theatre Greco is a wonderful environment for a concert, the weather was great and Alessandro sang with his whole heart.

We arrived at the Theatre at half past six and sat down and chat a little. I was looking around and then suddenly I saw a very handsome man walking down the stairs. You have guessed it already, it was Alessandro! He was wearing a black t-shirt with security on the back and he began to do some sound checking on different places of the stage. After that he went backstage and did some voice training.

When the concert began he came up in a black/grey pair of trousers and a shirt in the same colour and started to sing Luna. Patricia Manterola sang "Only you can hear my soul". She was surrounded by a few dancers in silver clothes and they waved with a silver ball. La Sete di Vivere was changed into a South American sound. Patricia came on the stage and started dancing around Alessandro en suddenly he began dancing too! Wow, we couldn't believe our eyes, Alessandro who gave away a dance show. You can imagine that we enjoyed it!

After a short break he stood between the public and started to sing Aria e Memoria, Patricia, who was standing on the stage, listened to him with a gaze. Halfway the song he went on the stage kissed Patricia on her hand and then she started to sing. At the end of the song they sang together, Alessandro in Italian and Patricia in English. The song ended with a big kiss! I've got goose bumps from this version of Aria e Memoria, it was so beautiful.

Alessandro sang Insieme a Te twice. You could hear that he likes this song very much, he sings it with such a passion.

Also we got to hear the new song Arrivederci America, it sounded great. Naturally he sang about his hometown Siena and he sang that he was feeling well (Stu Bbene). He sang all his songs with such a passion and they sounded so perfect. The song Il Profumo del Cielo was taped when the sky was dark blue, it was a perfect setting for this song.

During Il Mirto e la Rosa he climbed on the stairs and walked around the female dancers towards Daniele Bonaviri, who was sitting on top off the chairs playing his guitar. Naturally the show ended with Luna and Alessandro had changed his clothes again. Now he wore a grey pair of trousers and a bordeaux shirt. Patricia had the same clothes but then black shirt and bordeaux trousers. A beautiful couple to see! It was two hours later and we enjoyed the fantastic voice of Alessandro and the romantic environment.
